Yesterday McQ celebrated their collaboration with BEAT magazine and artist Sue Webster, with a party at the Spitalfields flagship.
McQ joined forces with Sue Webster on their AW16 campaign and invited the artist to re-imagine Harley Weir’s original shots of Japanese noise rock band, Bo Ningen. The resulting works play with ideas of the disposable and every day, wittily juxtaposed with the inherent glossiness of a fashion campaign. The images appear exclusively in BEAT and in the McQ Spitalfields’ art space throughout November.
Yesterday’s event featured a DJ set from campaign stars Bo Ningen and a live performance from TEAR.
Guests enjoyed Ketel One’s Espresso Martinis, Pistonhead Lager and fish & chips by Poppies.
