Pre AW15

For Pre AW15 the collection embraces a youthful exuberance characterized by iconic streetwear pieces. The contrast between DIY and luxury is highlighted through the use of rough textured prints of crumpled paper and cracked cement on luxe tailoring fabrics. In keeping with the brand’s subcultural heritage, the new McQ logo takes graphical inspiration from iconic New Wave bands of the late Eighties and Nineties. Structured tailoring is complemented by knitwear and sporty separates; McQ’s signature basics such as the sweatshirt are imbued with a subtle luxury dimension exemplifying the McQ philosophy: unexpected detail in unexpected places, which subverts our preconceptions and encourages us to approach luxury with new eyes.
