Spring Summer 2015

For McQ SS15 the journey overrides the destination, creating a wardrobe with its eye on the open road. The collection is a traveller’s tale in which, graphic recollections of block parties and underground gigs evolve into prints on tailoring and are patched on to practical outerwear. These prints remain key throughout the collection. Generous silhouettes encourage layering and colours reflect a British landscape. The reflective metallics of the city contrast against the earth tones of countryside. Blues evoke night and day, while optic white and black ground the collection in reality.
